Safety for Horse riders on roads

A recent incident on The Drift by a car transporter lorry failing to slow down disturbed a horse which threw its rider onto the ground causing hand and arm lacerations and severe bruising to their back. Most local drivers are very considerate to horses and abide by the new Highway Code rule of slowing to 10mph and giving 2m of space. Please let the Parish Council know if you witness any incidents contrary to this.
